Mwansa has been an intern with Alan Jacobs & Associates since 2018. Mwansa is currently a candidate attorney. Mwansa is a law graduate with an undergraduate LLB(Hons) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and a post-graduate LLB from the University of Cape Town.

Mwansa is also an assistant editor at the South African Journal on Human Rights.

Apart from practising Law, Mwansa is passionate about film and art.
